Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of communes under the districts of Chu Se, Kon Chro, Dak Doa, Ya Grai, and KBang, Gia Lai province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Gia Lai province,
DECREE
Article 1. The administrative boundaries shall be adjusted; communes under the districts of Chu Se, Kon Chro, Dak Doa, Ya Grai, and KBang, Gia Lai province shall be established as follows:
1. Establishing the commune of Ya Blu under the district of Chu Se based on 19,114.50 hectares of natural area and 4,688 population from the commune of Ya Le. Ya Blu commune has 19,114.50 hectares of natural area and 4,688 population. Administrative boundary of Ya Blu commune: East borders Ya Le commune; West borders Chu Prong district; South borders Dak Lak province; North borders Ia Ko, Ia Phang, and Nhon Hoa communes. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Ya Blu commune, Ya Le commune will have 12,456.50 hectares of natural area and 7,195 population remaining.
2. Establishing the commune of Dak Po Pho under the district of Kon Chro based on 5,305 hectares of natural area and 2,054 population from the commune of Yang Trung. Dak Po Pho commune has 5,305 hectares of natural area and 2,054 population. Administrative boundary of Dak Po Pho commune: East borders Yang Trung commune; West borders Mang Yang district; South borders Cho Long commune; North borders Chu Krei and An Trung communes. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Dak Po Pho commune, Yang Trung commune will have 4,700 hectares of natural area and 2,185 population remaining.
3. Establishing the commune of Dak Ke Ning under the district of Kon Chro based on 3,553 hectares of natural area and 740 population from the commune of Yang Nam, and 9,869.20 hectares of natural area and 1,503 population from the commune of Sró. - Yang Nam commune will have 13,366 hectares of natural area and 3,507 population remaining. - Sró commune will have 20,976.40 hectares of natural area and 2,679 population remaining.
4. Establishing the commune of Honl under the district of Dak Doa based on 4,685 hectares of natural area and 2,211 population from the commune of Trang. Honl commune has 4,685 hectares of natural area and 2,211 population. Administrative boundary of Honl commune: East borders Mang Yang district; West borders Glar commune; South borders Trang commune; North borders Ko Dang commune. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Honl commune, Trang commune will have 5,525 hectares of natural area and 4,054 population remaining.
5. Establishing the commune of Ya Ba under the district of Ya Grai based on 11,212.05 hectares of natural area and 5,905 population from the commune of Ya Hrung. Ya Ba commune has 11,212.05 hectares of natural area and 5,905 population. Administrative boundary of Ya Ba commune: East borders Ya Hrung commune; West borders Ya To commune; South borders Ia Kha town; North borders Chu Pah district. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Ya Ba commune, Ya Hrung commune will have 4,107.95 hectares of natural area and 3,152 population remaining.
6. Establishing the commune of Ya Yok under the district of Ya Grai based on 2,642.71 hectares of natural area and 8,246 population from the commune of Ya Sao. Ya Yok commune has 2,642.71 hectares of natural area and 8,246 population. Administrative boundary of Ya Yok commune: East borders Ya Sao commune; West borders Ya Hrung commune and Chu Pah district; South borders Ya Hrung and Ya Der communes; North borders Chu Pah district. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Ya Yok commune, Ya Sao commune will have 3,701.29 hectares of natural area and 7,874 population remaining.
7. Adjusting 327 hectares of natural area of Dong commune under KBang district to be managed by KBang town.
8. Establishing the commune of Dak Smar under the district of KBang based on 12,678.66 hectares of natural area and 2,012 population from the commune of Dong. Dak Smar commune has 12,678.66 hectares of natural area and 2,012 population. Administrative boundary of Dak Smar commune: East borders Binh Dinh province; West borders Lo Ku commune; South borders Dong, Nghia An communes, and KBang town; North borders So Pai and Krong communes. After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Dak Smar commune: - KBang town will have 2,087 hectares of natural area and 13,510 population. - Dong commune will have 3,597.84 hectares of natural area and 4,948 population remaining. - Krong commune will have 31,281.50 hectares of natural area and 4,012 population remaining.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
