GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to the Post and Telecommunications Ordinance 2002;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 55/2001/NĐ-CP dated August 23, 2001 of the Government on management, provision, and use of the Internet;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 160/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Post and Telecommunications Ordinance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Banking Information Technology Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Internal Computer Network Management and Usage Regulation of the State Bank of Vietnam is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede the following Decisions:

- Decision No. 216/1998/QĐ-NHNN16 dated June 26, 1998 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam promulgating the Information and Services Provision Regulation on SBVNET.

- Decision No. 220/1998/QĐ-NHNN16 dated July 6, 1998 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam promulgating the SBVNET Management and Usage Regulation.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Banking Information Technology Department, the Heads of units under the State Bank of Vietnam, and the Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam branches in provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
