Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decision No. 121/2007/QĐ-TTg dated July 27, 2007 of the Government approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2006-2020;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in the report No. 64/TTr-BGDĐT dated February 12, 2009 regarding the establishment of Phan Thiet University,
DECISION:
Article 1. Permission is granted to establish Phan Thiet University in Binh Thuan Province.
Article 2. Phan Thiet University is a private higher education institution with legal personality, having its own seal and separate account.
Article 3. Phan Thiet University operates in accordance with the Charter on the organization and operation of private universities issued together with Decision No. 14/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 17, 2005 of the Government.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 5. THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-LEVEL MINISTRIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-LEVEL AGENCIES, AND CHAIRMEN OF PROVINCE AND CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
