Regarding the establishment of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government promulgating the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks;

To implement Decision No. 1144/QĐ-TTg dated December 22, 1998 of the Prime Minister regarding the establishment of Phu Bai Industrial Zone in Thua Thien Hue Province;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, the Head of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Vietnam, and the Minister, Head of the Organization and Cadre Affairs Agency of the Government,

DECISION:

Article 1. Now establish the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province to manage industrial zones within the territory of Thua Thien Hue Province.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province shall perform management tasks and powers of industrial zones in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks issued together with Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province has legal personality, has a bank account, has a seal bearing the National Emblem, and has staffing and operating funds provided by the state budget.

Article 2. The Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province shall have a Director, several Deputy Directors, several members, and a support staff.

The appointment of the Director, Deputy Directors, members, and the establishment of the support staff of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province shall be carried out in accordance with Articles 26 and 28 of Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.

Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, the Head of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Vietnam, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, and the Head of the Management Board for Industrial Zones of Thua Thien Hue Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
