THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Investment and Construction Management Regulation issued together with Decree No. 52/1999/ND-CP dated September 8, 1999 of the Government and Decree No. 12/2000/ND-CP dated May 5, 2000 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 52/1999/ND-CP;
Pursuant to Notification No. 16-BCS/TB dated March 7, 2001 of the Party Cadre Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Resolution of the Party Cadre Committee meeting held on March 1 and 2, 2001;
At the proposal of the Director of the Personnel and Organization Department and the Director of the Basic Construction Investment Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Consolidate the Water Resources Project Management Board 409 with the Water Resources Project Management Board 408 to form a new board named the Water Resources Project Management Board 408.

The new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 shall have its headquarters at 30 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province (formerly the headquarters of the old Water Resources Project Management Board 408). The new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 shall have a second office at 466 Tran Cao Van Street, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City (formerly the headquarters of the old Water Resources Project Management Board 409).

Article 2. The Directors of the Water Resources Project Management Board 409 and the Water Resources Project Management Board 408 shall hand over their duties, organizational structure, staff, facilities, equipment, assets, funds, and documents to the Director of the new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 in full within thirty days from the date this decision takes effect.

Article 3. The new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 shall be entitled to use its own seal.

The Director of the new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 shall accept the handover from the Directors of the Water Resources Project Management Boards 409 and 408, inherit and be responsible for the activities of the Board according to the functions and tasks defined by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in Decision No. 124/2000/QD-BNN-TCCB dated November 27, 2000.

Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

The Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of the Personnel and Organization Department, Basic Construction Investment Department, Planning and Planning Department, Finance and Accounting Department, Heads of relevant agencies under the Ministry, Directors of the Water Resources Project Management Boards 409 and 408, and the Director of the new Water Resources Project Management Board 408 are responsible for implementing this decision./.
