Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts of Minh Hoa and
Tuyen Hoa, Quang Binh province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province,
DECREE:
Article 1. The administrative boundaries are hereby adjusted to establish the commune Trong Hoa under Minh Hoa district and the commune Thanh Thach under Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province, as follows:
1. Establishing the commune Trong Hoa under Minh Hoa district based on 18,712 hectares of natural area and 2,492 population of the commune Dan Hoa.
Administrative boundary of the commune Trong Hoa: East borders the communes Hoa Tien, Hoa Thanh; West borders the Lao Democratic People's Republic; South borders the commune Dan Hoa; North borders Tuyen Hoa district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Trong Hoa, the commune Dan Hoa remains with 17,650 hectares of natural area and 2,419 population.
2. Establishing the commune Thanh Thach under Tuyen Hoa district based on 3,200 hectares of natural area and 2,576 population of the commune Thanh Hoa.
Administrative boundary of the commune Thanh Thach: East borders the commune Kim Hoa; West borders the commune Thanh Hoa; South borders the commune Lam Hoa and Minh Hoa district; North borders the commune Huong Hoa.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Thanh Thach, the commune Thanh Hoa remains with 13,228 hectares of natural area and 5,341 population.
3. Establishing the commune Nam Hoa under Tuyen Hoa district based on 2,365 hectares of natural area and 2,320 population of the commune Thach Hoa.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Nam Hoa, the commune Thach Hoa remains with 5,209 hectares of natural area and 5,659 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
