DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of communes under the districts of Krông Ana, Ea Kar, and Krông Năng, Dak Lak province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and communes are established under the districts of Krông Ana, Ea Kar, and Krông Năng, Dak Lak province as follows:

1. Establishing Dray Bhăng commune under Krông Ana district based on 4,159 hectares of natural area and 9,294 population of Hòa Hiệp commune.

Dray Bhăng commune has 4,159 hectares of natural area and 9,294 population.

Administrative boundary of Dray Bhăng commune: East borders communes Ea Bhôk and Hòa Hiệp; West borders Buôn Ma Thuột city; South borders communes Ea Bông and Băng ADrênh; North borders communes Ea Tiêu and Ea Bhôk.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dray Bhăng commune, Hòa Hiệp commune remains with 3,126 hectares of natural area and 10,257 population.

2. Establishing Cư Prông commune under Ea Kar district based on 6,417 hectares of natural area and 3,528 population of Ea Păn commune.

Cư Prông commune has 6,417 hectares of natural area and 3,528 population. Administrative boundary of Cư Prông commune: East borders M'Drăk district; West borders Ea Păl commune; South borders Cư Yang commune; North borders Ea Tih commune and M'Drăk district.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Cư Prông commune, Ea Păn commune remains with 3,689 hectares of natural area and 7,190 population.

Renaming Ea Păn commune to Ea Păl commune.

3. Establishing Cư Elang commune under Ea Kar district based on 8,024 hectares of natural area and 4,315 population of Ea Ô commune.

Cư Elang commune has 8,024 hectares of natural area and 4,315 population.

Administrative boundary of Cư Elang commune: East borders Cư Bông commune; West borders Krông Pắc district; South borders Krông Bông district; North borders Ea Ô commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Cư Elang commune, Ea Ô commune remains with 5,168 hectares of natural area and 10,993 population.

4. Establishing Ea Dăh commune under Krông Năng based on 1,950 hectares of natural area and 2,854 population of Phú Xuân commune, and 3,274 hectares of natural area and 2,507 population of Tam Giang commune.

Ea Dăh commune has 5,224 hectares of natural area and 5,361 population. Administrative boundary of Ea Dăh commune: East borders Ea Kar district; West borders Krông Năng town and Phú Xuân commune; South borders Ea Kar district; North borders Tam Giang and Ea Puk communes.

5. Establishing Ea Puk commune under Krông Năng district based on 4,376 hectares of natural area and 3,791 population of Tam Giang commune.

Ea Puk commune has 4,376 hectares of natural area and 3,791 population.

Administrative boundary of Ea Puk commune: East borders Ea Kar district; West borders Tam Giang commune; South borders Ea Dăh commune; North borders Ea Tam commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the communes: - Phú Xuân commune remains with 4,559 hectares of natural area and 16,893 population. - Tam Giang commune remains with 3,483 hectares of natural area and 5,443 population.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the Minister of Interior, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
