DECREE
Regarding the establishment of Nhồi Town under
Dong Son District, Thanh Hoa Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior Affairs and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Establish Nhồi Town under Dong Son District, Thanh Hoa Province based on 184.34 hectares of natural area and 4,577 population from Dong Hung Commune and 3 hectares of natural area and 478 population from Dong Tan Commune.
Nhồi Town has 187.34 hectares of natural area and 5,055 population.
Administrative boundaries of Nhồi Town: East borders Thanh Hoa City; West borders Dong Tan Commune; South borders Dong Hung Commune; North borders Dong Tan Commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish Nhồi Town:
Dong Son District has 10,634.84 hectares of natural area and 110,333 population, with 21 subordinate administrative units including communes Dong Hung, Dong Thanh, Dong Vinh, Dong Ninh, Dong Anh, Dong Tien, Dong Tan, Dong Xuan, Dong Linh, Dong Hoang, Dong Khe, Dong Minh, Dong Nam, Dong Hoa, Dong Quang, Dong Phu, Dong Van, Dong Yen, Dong Thinh and towns Rung Thong, Nhồi.
- Dong Hung Commune retains 436.06 hectares of natural area and 3,723 population.
- Dong Tan Commune retains 451.39 hectares of natural area and 7,401 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior Affairs, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
