REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THE OVERALL PLAN FOR THE APPLICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE COMMERCE SECTOR UNTIL 2010

WHEREAS, Decree No. 29/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Trade;
WHEREAS, the Information Technology and Telecommunications Development Strategy of Vietnam until 2010 and orientations until 2020 has been approved by Decision No. 246/2005/QĐ-TTg dated October 6, 2005 of the Prime Minister;
WHEREAS, the State Administrative Reform Plan for the period 2006-2010 has been approved by Decision No. 94/2006/QĐ-TTg dated April 27, 2006 of the Prime Minister;
BASED ON THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE E-COMMERCE DEPARTMENT,
THIS DECISION ATTACHES THE OVERALL PLAN FOR THE APPLICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE COMMERCE SECTOR UNTIL 2010.
DECISION:
Article 1. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 2. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE E-COMMERCE DEPARTMENT, THE HEADS OF UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY, AND THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF TRADE AND DEPARTMENTS OF TRADE AND TOURISM ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION.
