DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Regarding the adjustment and supplementation of members of the Steering Committee for the Priority Mechanical Products Program established by Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister

PRIME MINISTER

Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

On the basis of Decision No. 186/2002/QĐ-TTg dated December 26, 2002 of the Prime Minister approving the Strategy for the Development of the Mechanical Industry of Vietnam until 2010 with a vision to 2020;

On the basis of Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the Priority Mechanical Products Program;

At the proposal of the Minister of Industry and Trade,

DECISION:

Article 1. Adjust and supplement members of the Steering Committee for the Priority Mechanical Products Program established pursuant to Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister, with specific composition as follows:

1. Chairman: Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, Deputy Prime Minister;

2. Vice-Chairman: Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade;

Members:

3. Mr. Do Huu Hao, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade;

4. Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;

5. Mr. Tran Xuan Ha, Deputy Minister of Finance;

6. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hieu, Deputy Minister of Defense;

7. Mr. Tran Quoc Thang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology;

8. Mr. Tran Doan Tho, Deputy Minister of Transport;

9. Mr. Ho Xuan Hung, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;

10. Mr. Cao Lai Quang, Deputy Minister of Construction;

11. Mr. Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises;

12. Mr. Tran Viet Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam General Association of Mechanical Engineering.

Article 2. The tasks and powers of the Steering Committee for the Priority Mechanical Program shall be implemented in accordance with Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under central cities, Heads of relevant agencies, and those named in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
