THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No. 209-SL dated August 20, 1948, which established allowances for staff of the Ministries' Offices;
Pursuant to Decree No. 261-SL dated November 19, 1948, which established salaries and allowances for personnel holding command positions at Ministries, Departments, Bureaus, and Directorates;
Pursuant to Decree No. 7 dated January 20, 1950, organizing the Ministries' Offices;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Ministers of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance;
In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers;
ISSUES THE ORDER:
Article 1. Those who are not civil servants but are appointed to the following positions shall be entitled, from August 1, 1949, to a monthly basic salary as follows:
At Ministries:
- Director: 900đ
- Deputy Director: 800đ
- Inspector: 800đ
- Secretary to Minister and Deputy Minister: 800đ
- Head of Department: 700đ
- Deputy Head of Department: 600đ
At Central Departments or Bureaus:
- Director of Department or Bureau Chief: 900đ
- Deputy Director of Department or Deputy Bureau Chief: 750đ
- Head of Department: 600đ
At Regional Levels:
- Regional Director: 700đ
- Deputy Regional Director: 600đ
- Chief of Regional Office of the United Board for Civilian Control and Rehabilitation (UBKCHC): 700đ
- Head of Department of UBKCHC at Regional Level: 550đ
- Head of Specialized Departments at Regional Level: 550đ
At Provinces or Cities:
- Provincial Director: 550đ
- Deputy Provincial Director: 450đ
- Chief of Provincial Office of the United Board for Civilian Control and Rehabilitation (UBKCHC): 550đ
- Head of Department of UBKCHC at Provincial or City Level: 450đ
Article 2. In addition to the basic salary mentioned in Article 1, the above-mentioned personnel shall also be entitled to family allowance, high-cost-of-living allowance, bad-climate allowance, and travel allowance as civil servants from August 1, 1949.
Article 3. All regulations contrary to the provisions herein are abolished.
Article 4. The Ministers shall implement this Decree.
