DECREE
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PHU KHUONG WARD UNDER BEN TRE TOWN, BEN TRE PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BEN TRE PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, THE DECREE PROVIDES FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PHU KHUONG WARD UNDER BEN TRE TOWN, BEN TRE PROVINCE ON THE BASIS OF THE ENTIRE AREA AND POPULATION OF PHU KHUONG COMMUNE.
DECREE:
Article 1. PHU KHUONG WARD HAS AN AREA OF 597 HA AND A POPULATION OF 15,414.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF PHU KHUONG WARD: EAST ADJACENT TO PHUONG 8; WEST ADJACENT TO SON DONG COMMUNE; SOUTH ADJACENT TO PHUONG 4 AND PHUONG 6; NORTH ADJACENT TO PHU HUNG COMMUNE AND CHAU THANH DISTRICT.
THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 2. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BEN TRE PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province, the Minister, the Director of the Government Organizational and Cadre Affairs Board, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
