Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts of Cái Nước and U Minh, Province of Cà Mau

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cà Mau Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish Tân Hải Commune under Cái Nước District and Khánh Hội Commune under U Minh District, Province of Cà Mau, as follows:
1. Establishing Tân Hải Commune under Cái Nước District based on 4,233.56 hectares of natural area and 9,532 population from Phú Tân Commune.
Administrative boundary of Tân Hải Commune: East borders Tân Hưng Commune West; West borders the East Sea; South borders Cái Đôi Vàm Town; North borders Phú Tân Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tân Hải Commune, Phú Tân Commune retains 5,682.47 hectares of natural area and 15,130 population.
2. Establishing Khánh Hội Commune under U Minh District based on 3,360.80 hectares of natural area and 9,780 population from Khánh Lâm Commune.
Administrative boundary of Khánh Hội Commune: East borders Khánh Lâm Commune; West borders the East Sea; South borders Trần Văn Thời District; North borders Khánh Hòa Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Khánh Hội Commune, Khánh Lâm Commune retains 11,230.87 hectares of natural area and 11,096 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cà Mau province, the Minister of Interior, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
