DECREE

DECREE NO. 41-CP OF MAY 28, 1994 ESTABLISHING BAT XAT MARKET TOWN BELONGING TO BAT XAT DISTRICT, LAO CAI PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

At the request of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province and the Government Organization and Cadre Department;

DECREE

Article 1. - The Bat Xat market town (district capital) is hereby established within Bat Xat District based on 149 hectares of natural area and 2,495 population from Ban Qua Commune, including the villages of La Nuoc, Dong Phon, Dong Thai, and Ban Loi.

The boundaries of Bat Xat market town: to the East, West, South, and North are adjacent to Ban Qua Commune.

Ban Qua Commune retains 6,815 hectares of natural area with 4,031 population; including the villages of Ban Pho, Lung Thang, Ban Cat, Vi Phai, Na Nam, Hai Khe, Ban Vai, Tan Bao, Ban Nang, Ban Trang, Ban Qua, Chau Giang, Ban Ven, and Ban Tung.

The boundaries of Ban Qua Commune: to the East borders Yunnan Province of China; to the West borders Muong Vi and Pu Cheo Communes; to the South borders Quang Kim Phin Ngan Commune; to the North borders Ban Vuoc Commune.

Article 2. - The People's Committee of Lao Cai Province and the Government Organization and Cadre Department shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
