REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THANG LONG PRIVATE UNIVERSITY
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (Circular No. 3769/TCCB dated June 19, 1994),
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the establishment of Thang Long Private University based on Thang Long Private Higher Education Center which was established pursuant to Decision No. 1687/KHTV dated December 15, 1988 of the Minister of Higher Education, Secondary Specialized Education, and Vocational Training (now the Ministry of Education and Training).
Article 2. Thang Long Private University is a higher education institution subject to the management of the Ministry of Education and Training. The university has its own legal personality, seal, and separate bank account.
The system of diplomas and certificates of Thang Long Private University is part of the national system of diplomas and certificates.
Article 3. Thang Long Private University shall organize and operate in accordance with the law, the Private University Charter issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Statutes of the University approved by the Minister of Education and Training.
Article 4. The Minister of Education and Training, the Ministers and Heads of government agencies, and the Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities related to this matter are responsible for implementing this Decision.
