DECISION

On the issuance of the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Legal Department

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

- Pursuant to Law No. 01/1997/QH10 on the State Bank of Vietnam dated December 12, 1997;

- Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government stipulating the tasks, powers and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

- Pursuant to Decree No. 88/1998/NĐ-CP dated November 2, 1998 of the Government on the functions, powers and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

- Pursuant to Decree No. 94/CP dated September 6, 1997 of the Government on legal affairs organization in ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies;

- Based on the proposal of the Department of Organization and Training.

DECISION

Article 1. To issue with this Decision the "Regulation on the organization and operation of the Legal Department."

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature and replaces Decision No. 205/1998/QĐ-NHNN dated June 11, 1998 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Legal Department.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of the Departments of Organization and Training and Legal Affairs, Heads of units under the State Bank of Vietnam, Governors of Provincial Branches of the State Bank, Chairmen of Management Boards, General Directors (Directors), credit institutions shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
