DECISION

On the issuance of Rules on Credit Information Activities

in the banking industry

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Law No. 01/1997/QH10 on the State Bank of Vietnam and Law No. 02/1997/QH10 on Credit Organizations, dated December 12, 1997;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government regarding tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management by Ministries and ministerial-level agencies.

DECISION:

Article 1. To issue with this Decision the Rules on Credit Information Activities in the banking industry.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2000, replacing the Rules on Organization and Operation of the Credit Information Center issued together with Decision No. 120/QĐ-NH14 dated April 24, 1995 by the Governor of the State Bank.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, the General Director (Director) of the Credit Information Center; Heads of units under the State Bank of Vietnam; Directors of provincial and centrally-administered city branches of the State Bank; Chairmen of management boards and General Managers (Directors) of credit organizations shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
