PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to the Civil Enforcement Law dated April 21, 1993;

At the proposal of the Minister of Justice,

DECISION:

Article 1. Officers and staff working at the Department of Civil Enforcement Management under the Ministry of Justice and officers and staff (excluding Enforcement Officers) working at local civil enforcement agencies shall be provided with:

1. Badges to be affixed on hats and lapels;

2. Winter uniforms with long-sleeved shirts, spring and summer uniforms, Kepi caps, berets, ties, leather shoes, socks, leather belts, raincoats, leather document cases;

3. The design and color of uniforms shall be specified by the Minister of Justice; badges on hats shall be implemented according to Clause 1, Article 16 of Decree No. 30/CP dated June 2, 1993; however, badges on lapels shall not include a sword or shield.

Article 2. Principles for issuance and use of uniforms:

1. The subjects eligible for uniform issuance shall be provided according to the timeframes stipulated in Article 3 of this Decision. For winter uniforms, spring and summer uniforms, and long-sleeved shirts, two sets shall be issued initially;

2. It is prohibited to lend, sell, exchange, or give uniforms as gifts;

3. In cases where uniforms are lost or damaged for valid reasons, they may be reissued or replaced;

4. If civil enforcement officers and staff who have been provided uniforms transfer to other positions, retire according to regulations, or cease work at civil enforcement agencies for other reasons, they must return their badges.

The Director of the Department of Civil Enforcement Management under the Ministry of Justice shall be responsible for collecting badges from civil enforcement officers and staff working at the Department of Civil Enforcement Management. The Director of the Department of Justice of the province shall be responsible for collecting badges from civil enforcement officers and staff working at local civil enforcement agencies when they cease work at these agencies as stipulated in Clause 4 of this Article.

Article 3. The service life of uniforms is defined as follows:

- Winter uniforms: three years per set;

- Spring and summer uniforms: two years per set;

- Long-sleeved shirts: one year per piece;

- Ties: two years per piece;

- Leather shoes: one year per pair;

- Leather belts: two years per piece;

- Leather document cases: three years per piece;

- Socks: one year per pair;

- Raincoats: one year per piece;

- Kepi caps: two years per piece;

- Berets: two years per piece.

Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 5. The Minister of Justice and the Minister of Finance shall provide guidance for the implementation of this Decision.

Article 6. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
