THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to the Decree No. 68/CP dated October 11, 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Based on the Law on People's Health Protection dated June 30, 1989;
Pursuant to the Decision No. 2010/QD-BYT of the Ministry of Health dated October 28, 1996 promulgating the Regulation on vaccine registration and immunobiological products;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Vaccine Registration Review Board meeting on 23 the 9 year 1998;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department - The Minister of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. hereby issues with this Decision the List of types of vaccines and immunological products produced abroad that are considered by the Ministry of Health for registration to circulate in Vietnam in 2000 (attached List).
Article 2. Vaccines and immunological products produced abroad that have been registered to circulate in Vietnam may only be imported into Vietnam when there is a need for use.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2000 and replaces Decision No. 3255/1998/QĐ-BYT dated November 21, 1998.
Article 4. The Preventive Medicine Department is responsible for notifying this Decision to vaccine and immunological product production and trading enterprises.
Article 5. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Preventive Medicine Department, and the Directors of relevant Departments of the Ministry of Health, the Director of the Drug Administration of Vietnam, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and the Directors of Provincial and Municipal Health Services directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
