Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).Establish communes under the districts of Dam Dơi, Tran Van Thoi, Cai Nuoc, and Ngoc Hien, Ca Mau province as follows:
DECREE DECIDE:
Article 1. 1. Establish Quach Pham Bac commune under Dam Dơi district based on 4,061.5 hectares of natural area and 10,291 population of Quach Pham commune.
Administrative boundaries of Quach Pham Bac commune: East borders Tan Duyet commune; West borders Cai Nuoc district; South borders Quach Pham commune; North borders Tran Phan Nam commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, Quach Pham commune has 3,082.09 hectares of natural area and 11,379 population.
2. Establish Khanh Binh Tay Bac commune under Tran Van Thoi district based on 9,864 hectares of natural area and 17,212 population of Khanh Binh Tay commune.
Administrative boundaries of Khanh Binh Tay Bac commune: East borders Tran Hoi commune; West borders the sea; South borders Binh Khanh Tay commune; North borders U Minh district.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, Khanh Binh Tay commune has 5,436 hectares of natural area and 13,489 population.
3. Establish Viet Thang commune under Cai Nuoc district based on 3,865.27 hectares of natural area and 10,300 population of Tran Thoi commune.
Administrative boundaries of Viet Thang commune: East borders Tran Thoi commune; West borders Tan Hung Tay commune; South borders Ngoc Hien district; North borders Tan Hung Dong commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, Tran Thoi commune has 3,830.13 hectares of natural area and 13,734 population.
4. Establish Tan An Tay commune under Ngoc Hien district based on 11,096 hectares of natural area and 10,030 population of Tan An commune.
Administrative boundaries of Tan An Tay commune: East borders Tam Giang commune; West borders Viyen An Dong commune; South borders Tan An commune; North borders Nham Can town.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, Tan An commune has 13,114.56 hectares of natural area and 11,368 population.
This Decree takes effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cà Mau Province, the Minister, the Head of the Government Organization and Cadres Board, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
