DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Regarding the establishment of the town of Ninh Son district headquarters in Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province

and renaming Tan Son commune to Luong Son commune

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization The Government on September 30, 1992,

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province and the Minister, Head of the Organization Department of the Government, Establish Dak Song district based on the entire natural area and population of two communes Dak Rung and Truong Xuan in Dak Nong district; three communes Dak Mol, Thuan Hạnh and Dak Song in Dak Mil district; Dak Song district has 80,811 hectares of natural area and 28,380 inhabitants, including five direct administrative units which are communes: Dak Rung, Truong Xuan, Dak Mol, Thuan Hạnh and Dak Song commune. Administrative boundary of Dak Song district: East borders Krông Nô district and Dak Nong district; West borders Cambodia and Dak RLa district; South borders Dak Nong district; North borders Dak Mil district. After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dak Song district: Dak Nong district remains with 172,892 hectares of natural area and 27,007 inhabitants, including nine direct administrative units comprising communes: Quang Khe, Dak Ha, Dak Rmang, Quang Thanh, Dak Plao, Dak Som, Dak Nia, Quang Son and Gia Nghia town. Dak Mil district remains with 68,352 hectares of natural area and 64,560 inhabitants, including eight direct administrative units comprising communes: Duc Minh, Duc Manh, Thuan An, Dak Lao, Dak Gan, Dak RLa, Dak Sak and Dak Mil town.

DECREE:

Article 1. Now establishes the town of Tan Son (the district headquarters of Ninh Son district) based on 1,764 hectares of natural area and 10,242 population from Tan Son commune.

The administrative boundaries of the town of Tan Son: East borders Phuoc Tien commune and Phuoc Chinh commune; West borders Luong Son commune and Quang Son commune; South borders Quang Son commune; North borders Luong Son commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Tan Son commune has 4,259 hectares of natural area and 4,836 population.

Article 2. Renames Tan Son commune to Luong Son commune.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.

Article 4. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
