Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;
Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Credit Institutions 2004;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003, issued by the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
At the proposal of the Head of the Payment Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend Article 1 of Decision No. 20/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated May 9, 2006, issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on amending Point 3 of Appendix No. 3 of the Regulations on the banking code system used in payment transactions through the State Bank promulgated together with Decision No. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated January 18, 2006, issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from December 10, 2007.
Article 3. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Payment Department, the Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Bank, the Heads of units under the State Bank, the Directors of the State Bank Branches, the Directors of the State Bank branches in provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Chairmen of the Management Boards and General Managers (Directors) of organizations providing payment services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
