Issuing the Supplementary List of Fertilizers Permitted for Production, Business, and Use in Vietnam

Pursuant to the Law on Product Quality and Goods dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP of the Government;

Pursuant to Decree No. 113/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 7, 2003 of the Government on the management of fertilizer production, business, and use; Decree No. 191/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2007 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 113/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 7, 2003 of the Government on the management of fertilizer production, business, and use;

Pursuant to Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Quality of Products and Commodities;

Pursuant to Circular No. 36/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated June 24, 2010 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgating regulations on fertilizer production, business, and use;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby issues the supplementary list of fertilizers permitted for production, business, and use in Vietnam,

Article 1. Attached herewith are

1. The supplementary list of fertilizers permitted for production, business, and use in Vietnam (Annex 01 attached) includes 125 types, divided into:

a) Single fertilizers for basal application: 01 type;

b) Compound fertilizers for basal application: 06 types;

c) Organic fertilizers: 02 types;

d) Microbial fertilizers: 04 types;

đ) Organic microbial fertilizers: 06 types;

e) Biological organic fertilizers: 06 types;

g) Mineral organic fertilizers: 07 types;

h) Foliar fertilizers: 93 types.

2. The list of fertilizers replacing existing types in the list of fertilizers permitted for production, business, and use in Vietnam (Annex 02 attached) includes 83 types, divided into:

a) Organic fertilizers: 02 types;

b) Microbial fertilizers: 02 types;

c) Organic microbial fertilizers: 09 types;

d) Biological organic fertilizers: 13 types;

đ) Micronutrient fertilizers: 01 type;

e) Mineral organic fertilizers: 12 types;

g) Foliar fertilizers: 44 types.

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Crop Production Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Heads of relevant units are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
