DECREE

DECREE NO. 42-CP OF MAY 28, 1994 ESTABLISHING THE TOWN OF KHÁNH HAI AS THE DISTRICT CAPITAL OF NINH HAI DISTRICT, NINH THUAN PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT

Based on the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992,
AT THE REQUEST OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH THUAN PROVINCE AND THE ORGANIZATION-CADRES DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,

DECREE:

Article 1.- NOW, THE TOWN OF KHÁNH HAI (DISTRICT CAPITAL) IS ESTABLISHED IN NINH HAI DISTRICT, INCLUDING THE VILLAGES OF DU KHÁNH I, DU KHÁNH II, NINH CHU, AND CA DU OF KHÁNH HAI COMMUNE.

- THE TOWN OF KHÁNH HAI HAS AN AREA OF 896.42 HA WITH A POPULATION OF 11,321.

- THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN OF KHÁNH HAI ARE AS FOLLOWS: EAST BORDERING TRI HAI COMMUNE AND THE EAST SEA; WEST BORDERING THANH HAI COMMUNE AND HO HAI COMMUNE; SOUTH BORDERING VAN HAI COMMUNE; NORTH BORDERING TRI HAI COMMUNE AND PHUONG HAI COMMUNE.

Article 2.- THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH THUAN PROVINCE AND THE ORGANIZATION-CADRES DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
