ON THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE SOCIAL INSURANCE OF VIETNAM TO HANDLE THE PAYMENT OF WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AID BENEFITS

 AND CITIZENS WITH MERIT

 

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

On the basis of Article 150 of the Labor Code;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Vietnam Social Insurance;

 

DECISION:

Article 1. The Vietnam Social Insurance is assigned the task of receiving funds and organizing payments to beneficiaries of preferential war invalids and social aid benefits and citizens with merit.

The Vietnam Social Insurance shall receive a general average disbursement fee nationwide at 0.52% calculated on the total amount of war invalids and social aid benefits. The specific rate in each locality shall be determined by the General Director of the Vietnam Social Insurance.

Article 2. The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance shall provide guidance on the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from August 1, 1995.

Article 4. The Minister, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Chairman of the Management Board of the Vietnam Social Insurance, and the General Director of the Vietnam Social Insurance are responsible for implementing this Decision.
