DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Regarding the supplementation of subjects temporarily applying the"Health classification criteria for recruitment examination and periodic health check-ups"
for workers issued together with Decision No. 1613/BYT-QD dated August 15, 1997 of the Minister of Health
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/ND-CP dated
of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decision No. 1613/BYT-QD dated 15/5/2003 of the Minister of Health on issuing the "Health classification criteria for recruitment examination and periodic health check-ups" for workers;

Pursuant to Circular No. 4850/GTVT-TCCB dated September 16, 2004 of the Ministry of Transport requesting the temporary application of health standards for crew members working on inland waterway vessels without engines, with a total load capacity over 15 tons or carrying more than 12 people;15/8/1997 At the proposal of the Director of the Treatment Department of the Ministry of Health,

Supplementing the subject of crew members working on inland waterway vessels without engines, with a total load capacity over 15 tons or carrying more than 12 people to be temporarily applied according to the "Health classification criteria for recruitment examination and periodic health check-ups" for workers issued together with Decision No. 1613/BYT-QD dated August 15, 1997 of the Minister of Health. These subjects must meet health class I, II, or III.

The officials: Director of the Office, Inspector General, Directors of the Treatment Department of the Ministry of Health, Directors of Provincial Health Departments under central cities, Heads of Health Services of relevant sectors and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

 

DECIDES:

Article 1. Supplementing the subject as seafarers working on inland waterway vessels without engines, with a total deadweight of over 15 tons or carrying more than 12 people, temporarily applying the "Health Standard for Medical Examination and Periodic Health Check" for workers issued together with Decision No. 1613/BYT-QĐ dated August 15, 1997, of the Minister of Health. These subjects must meet health class I, class II, or class III.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. Gentlemen/Ladies: The Director of the Office, the Inspector General, the Head of the Treatment Department - Ministry of Health, the Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Heads of Health Services of sectors and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
