CIRCULAR
Issuing technical standards for animal breeding trials and testing
and certification
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/CP dated January 3, 2008;
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Livestock Breed Law dated March 24, 2004;
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby promulgates national technical standards for animal breeding trials and testing:
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are four national technical standards:
1. National technical standard on breeding trials and testing of dairy cattle.

2. National technical standard on breeding trials and testing of beef cattle.
Code: QCVN 01 - 44: 2011/MARD
3. National technical standard on breeding trials and testing of duck breeds.
Code: QCVN 01 - 45: 2011/MARD
4. National technical standard on breeding trials and testing of chicken breeds.
Code: QCVN 01 - 46: 2011/MARD
Article 2. This Circular takes effect six months from the date of issuance.
Article 3. The Director of the Livestock Production Department, heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing these standards.
During the implementation process, if there are difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals shall promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for study, amendment, and supplementation./.
