CIRCULAR
Prescribing National Technical Regulations on the Environment
MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government prescribing functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director General of the Environmental Protection Administration, the Head of the Science and Technology Department, and the Head of the Legal Affairs Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.
To promulgate two (02) national technical regulations on the environment as appended to this Circular: 1. QCVN 38:2011/BTNMT - National Technical Regulation on Water Quality for Aquatic Life Protection.
2. QCVN 39:2011/BTNMT - National Technical Regulation on Water Quality for Irrigation and Domestic Use.
Article 2
. This Circular takes effect from February 15, 2012.Article 3
. The Director General of the Environmental Protection Administration, Heads of units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.DEPUTY MINISTER
