Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 68/CP dated October 11, 1993 on the functions, tasks, and authorities of the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health

At the proposal of: The Director of the Medical Equipment and Construction Department, the Director of the Treatment Department, the Ministry of Health,

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Now hereby promulgates the List of medical equipment for provincial general hospitals, district general hospitals, regional multi-purpose clinics, commune health stations, and village medical kits.

Article 2.

1. Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally governed cities shall base themselves on the List of medical equipment stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision to prepare annual investment projects for supplementing and upgrading medical equipment.

2. Heads of the Health Sector shall base themselves on the List of medical equipment stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision to prepare plans for investing in medical equipment to meet the requirements of medical examination and treatment.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of issuance and replaces Decision No. 1419/BYT-QD dated August 23, 1996 of the Minister of Health regarding the list of medical equipment for provincial general hospitals, district general hospitals, regional multi-purpose clinics, and commune health stations.

Article 4. Gentlemen/Ladies: The Director of the Office, the Directors of the Departments: Medical Equipment and Construction, Treatment, Finance and Accounting, Planning, and other relevant Departments under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally governed cities, Heads of the Health Sector are responsible for implementing this Decision.
