Regarding the establishment of certain communes under Yên Thành district, Nghệ An province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).pursuant to the request of the People's Committee of Nghệ An province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. The communes under Yên Thành district, Nghệ An province shall be established as follows:
1. Establish Tây Thành commune based on 2,200 hectares of natural area and 5,866 population from Quang Thành commune.
Administrative boundary of Tây Thành commune: East borders Quang Thành commune; West borders Đô Lương district; South borders Thịnh Thành commune; North borders Tân Kỳ district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Quang Thành commune will have 2,350 hectares of natural area and 6,459 population.
2. Establish Đại Thành commune based on 906 hectares of natural area and 4,720 population from Minh Thành commune.
Administrative boundary of Đại Thành commune: East borders Mỹ Thành commune; West borders Đô Lương district; South borders Đô Lương district; North borders Lý Thành, Minh Thành communes.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Minh Thành commune will have 2,494 hectares of natural area and 5,870 population.
3. Establish Kim Thành commune based on 2,300 hectares of natural area and 4,150 population from Đồng Thành commune.
Administrative boundary of Kim Thành commune: East borders Lăng Thành, Hậu Thành, Phúc Thành communes; West borders Quang Thành commune; South borders Đồng Thành commune; North borders Tân Kỳ district and Lăng Thành commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Đồng Thành commune will have 3,100 hectares of natural area and 6,705 population.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghệ An province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
