Decree No. 44/2002/NĐ-CP On the establishment of wards under the city of Thanh Hoa, the town of Bim Son, and the market town of Ben Sung under Nhu Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province

DECREE

Regarding the establishment of wards under the city of Thanh Hoa, the town of Bim Son

and the market town of Ben Sung under Nhi Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province

 THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish wards under the city of Thanh Hoa, the town of Bim Son, and the market town of Ben Sung under Nhi Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province as follows:

1. Establishing Tan Son ward under the city of Thanh Hoa based on 78 hectares of natural area and 11,114 population from Phu Son ward.

Administrative boundary of Tan Son ward: East borders Lam Son, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Trao wards; West borders Phu Son ward; South borders Dong Ve ward; North borders Dien Bien ward.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tan Son ward, Phu Son ward remains with 193 hectares of natural area and 8,453 population.

2. Establishing Dong Son ward under Bim Son town based on 1,931.1 hectares of natural area and 8,650 population from Lam Son ward.

Administrative boundary of Dong Son ward: East borders Ha Trung district; West borders Lam Son ward; South borders Ha Lan commune; North borders Bac Son ward and the province of Ninh Binh.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dong Son ward, Lam Son ward remains with 377.4 hectares of natural area and 8,652 population.

3. Establishing Ben Sung market town - the district capital of Nhi Thanh district based on 244.15 hectares of natural area and 2,302 population from Hai Van commune, 340 hectares of natural area and 1,653 population from Hai Long commune.

Ben Sung market town has 584.15 hectares of natural area and 3,955 population.

Administrative boundary of Ben Sung market town: East borders Nong Cong district; West borders Hai Long and Hai Van communes; South borders Hai Van commune; North borders Hai Long and Phu Nhuong communes.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Ben Sung market town: Hai Van commune remains with 1,574.67 hectares of natural area and 3,257 population.

Hai Long commune remains with 1,824.92 hectares of natural area and 3,582 population.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
