CIRCULAR
Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC dated May 16, 2024, issued by the Minister of Finance on market price consolidation, analysis, forecasting work and funding for such work
On the basis of Law on Prices dated June 19, 2023;

At the proposal of the Director of the Price Management Department;
The Minister of Finance issues this Circular amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC dated May 16, 2024, issued by the Minister of Finance on market price consolidation, analysis, forecasting work and funding for such work
Article 1. Amend and supplement Point b Clause 1 Article 3 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC dated May 16, 2024, issued by the Minister of Finance on market price consolidation, analysis, forecasting work and funding for such work
“b) Provincial People's Committee; based on the actual situation in the locality, the Provincial People's Committee assigns tasks of market price consolidation, analysis, and forecasting to specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, District People's Committees, and related units (if necessary);”
Article 2. Replacing and abolishing some phrases and appendices of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC
1. Replace the phrase “Financial Statistics and Information Technology Department - Ministry of Finance” with the phrase “Digital Transformation and Information Technology Department - Ministry of Finance” at point c Clause 3 and Clause 4 Article 22 of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC.
2. Replacing Appendix I and Appendix III promulgated together with Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC respectively with Appendix I and Appendix II promulgated together with this Circular.
3. Removing the phrases “Ministry of Planning and Investment” and “General Statistics Office” from Appendix IV promulgated together with Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC.
Article 3. Implementation Provisions
1. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2025.
2. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties, units shall report to the Ministry of Finance (Price Management Department) for guidance on resolution and appropriate amendments and supplements.
