Regarding the establishment of wards under Thai Binh town and Thanh Nê township
belonging to Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government;
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish wards under Thai Binh town and Thanh Nê township belonging to Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province as follows:
1. Establishing the ward Tien Phong under Thai Binh town based on the entire natural area and population of Tien Phong commune.
Ward Tien Phong has 310.2 hectares of natural area and 8,349 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of ward Tien Phong: East borders ward Bo Xuyen and Dong Hoa commune; West borders Phu Xuan commune; South borders wards Quang Trung, Bo Xuyen, Die Tham; North borders Vu Thu district.
2. Establishing the ward Tran Lam under Thai Binh town based on the entire natural area and population of Tran Lam commune.
Ward Tran Lam has 330 hectares of natural area and 13,750 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of ward Tran Lam: East borders Vu Chinh commune and Kien Xuong district; West borders ward Ky Ba and Vu Chinh commune; South borders Vu Chinh commune; North borders ward Ky Ba and Hoang Duy commune.
3. Establishing Thanh Nê township - the district capital of Kien Xuong district based on the merger of the entire natural area and population of Kien Xuong township and Tan Thuat commune.
Thanh Nê township has 681.54 hectares of natural area and 11,500 inhabitants. The administrative boundary of Thanh Nê township: East borders An Boi commune; West borders Quang Binh and Quang Minh communes; South borders Quang Trung commune; North borders Binh Minh commune.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
