DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Regarding the assignment of the Quang Tri Provincial Preventive Health Center the responsibility for
state inspection of quality and food safety hygiene for imported products
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 12/2003/PL-UBTVQH11 on Food Safety Hygiene issued by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on July 26, 2003;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 163/2004/NĐ-CP OF SEPTEMBER 7, 2004, PROVIDING DETAILED IMPLEMENTATION GUIDELINES FOR CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE SANITARY AND FOOD SAFETY ORDINANCE;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1370/QĐ-BYT dated July 17, 1997 of the Minister of Health on the issuance of the regulations on state inspection of quality for imported foods;
Pursuant to the Inspection Report and Assessment of Testing, Inspection, and Supervision Capabilities for Imported Foods in Quang Tri Province;
Upon the proposal of the Director of the Department of Food Safety - Ministry of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Quang Tri Provincial Preventive Health Center shall be assigned to organize and implement state inspection of quality for imported foods at the border gates of Quang Tri Province.
Article 2. The Director of the Department of Food Safety - Ministry of Health shall be responsible for organizing, guiding, and supervising the implementation of this Decision.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Legal Affairs Department, and related Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Health Services of provinces and centrally governed cities, Heads of Health Services of sectors, and the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Preventive Health Center shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
