DECREE

No. 45 dated October 10, 1945

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

WHEREAS the training of literature teachers for secondary schools is very necessary;

WHEREAS it is essential to elevate Vietnamese literature to be worthy of an independent country and to keep pace with advanced nations around the world;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CHAIRMAN DECRESSES:

Clause I : A Faculty of Letters shall now be established in Hanoi.

Clause II : The Minister of National Education shall determine the details for implementation. The Minister of National Education shall enforce this Decree.
