DECISION
NUMBER 45/NH-QĐ OF APRIL 18, 1989
ON AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE REGULATIONS ON SAVINGS DEPOSITS
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the proposals of several provincial and municipal State Banks and the wishes of a large number of people with savings deposits,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- Amending and supplementing point b of Article 2 of the Regulations on Savings Deposits issued by Decision No. 30-NH/QĐ dated March 17, 1989 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam:
a) A three-month interest-bearing savings deposit is a lump-sum deposit and withdrawal with principal and interest paid in full at maturity. Early withdrawal does not entitle to interest.
Now amended as follows:
b) A three-month interest-bearing savings deposit is a lump-sum deposit and withdrawal with principal and interest paid in full at maturity. Early withdrawal shall be entitled to the interest rate of non-term interest-bearing savings deposits.
Article 2.- This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
Article 3.- The General Directors of specialized banks, Department Heads, Institute Directors, Heads of Departments under the Central State Bank, Governors of provincial and municipal specialized banks, special zones, and regions are responsible for implementing this Decision.
