CIRCULAR
Regarding amendments and supplements to certain contents of Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated April 8, 2010 on the issuance of the List of Plant Protection Products permitted for use, restricted use, and prohibited use in Vietnam by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Plant Protection and Quarantine Law dated August 8, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 89/2006/QĐ-BNN dated October 2, 2006 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the management of plant protection products;
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development amends and supplements certain contents of Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated April 8, 2010 as follows:
Article 1. Amendments and supplements to certain contents of Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated April 8, 2010 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the issuance of the List of Plant Protection Products permitted for use, restricted use, and prohibited use in Vietnam include:
1. Amending the name of the registering organization, amending the active ingredient name, and amending the product name (Annex 1 attached).
2. Official registration: 6 cases (including 5 insecticides, 1 wood preservative) into the List of Plant Protection Products permitted for use and restricted use in Vietnam (Annex 2 attached).
3. Supplementary registration: 429 cases (including 219 insecticides, 146 fungicides, 37 herbicides, 2 rodenticides, 12 growth regulators, 1 insect attractant, 11 molluscicides, 1 termicide) into the List of Plant Protection Products permitted for use in Vietnam (Annex 3 attached).
Article 2. The export and import of plant protection products under this Circular shall be carried out in accordance with Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and agency buying, selling, processing, and transiting goods with foreign countries.
Article 3. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of signature.
Article 4. The Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
