Issuing the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the Network of Notification and Inquiry Agencies and the Inter-ministerial Committee for Technical Barriers to Trade

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 95/2017/ND-CP dated August 16, 2017 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;
At the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology;
The Prime Minister issues this Decision on the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the Network of Notification and Inquiry Agencies and the Inter-ministerial Committee for Technical Barriers to Trade.itemIndustry.
Article 1. This Decision hereby promulgates the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the Network of Notification and Inquiry Agencies and the Inter-ministerial Committee for Technical Barriers to Trade attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from January 10, 2018 and replaces Decision No. 114/2005/QD-TTg dated May 26, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment and promulgation of the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the Network of Notification and Inquiry Agencies for Technical Barriers to Trade in Vietnam.
The provisions regarding the composition of the Inter-ministerial Committee TBT at Point d Clause 2 Article 1 of Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated May 26, 2005 of the Prime Minister approving the implementation plan for the Technical Barriers to Trade Project shall cease to be effective from the date this Decision takes effect.
Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies and other government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
