DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Regarding the issuance of Budget Estimation Standards
for underground coal mine construction industry

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to the "Regulations on Investment Management and Construction" issued together with Decree No. 52/1999/ND-CP dated July 8, 1999 and amended and supplemented by Decree No. 12/2000/ND-CP dated May 5, 2000 of the Government;
After reaching agreement with the Ministry of Construction regarding the issuance of Budget Estimation Standards for underground coal mine construction projects (Document No. 1254/BXD-VKT dated July 19, 2001 of the Ministry of Construction);
At the proposal of the Director of the Planning and Investment Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. - Issued along with this Decision is the set of "Budget Estimation Standards for Underground Coal Mine Construction Industry".
Article 2. - These standards serve as the basis for establishing unit prices as the foundation for preparing budget estimates for underground coal mine construction projects.
Article 3. - The Budget Estimation Standards for Underground Coal Mine Construction Industry shall be uniformly applied from January 1, 2001, replacing the set of Budget Estimation Standards for Underground Coal Mine Construction Projects previously issued under Resolution No. 309/NL-XDCB dated July 11, 1995 of the Ministry of Energy (now the Ministry of Industry). Vietnam National Coal Corporation shall closely monitor and inspect the implementation of these standards. Any issues arising during implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Construction for review and adjustment.
Article 4. - The Heads of the Ministry's Office, Directors of relevant Departments of the Ministry, General Directors of Vietnam National Coal Corporation, and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
