Decree No. 47/2006/NĐ-CP On Adjusting Administrative Boundaries and Establishing New Communes in the Counties of Ea Sup, Ea Hleo, Krong Buk, and Cu Mgar, Dak Lak Province

DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of communes under the districts of Ea Sup, Ea Hleo, Krong Buk, and Cu Mgar, Dak Lak province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.

DECREE

Article 1. The administrative boundaries are hereby adjusted and communes are established under the districts of Ea Sup, Ea Hleo, Krong Buk, and Cu Mgar, Dak Lak province as follows:

1. Establishing the commune of Ia JLoi under the district of Ea Sup based on 27,320 hectares of natural area and 5,789 population of the commune of Ia Lop.

The commune of Ia JLoi has 27,320 hectares of natural area and 5,789 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Ia JLoi: East borders the district of Ea Hleo; West borders the communes of Ia Lop and Ia RVe; South borders the commune of Ea Rok; North borders the province of Gia Lai.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ia JLoi, the commune of Ia Lop remains with 19,253 hectares of natural area and 3,890 population.

2. Adjusting 1,576 hectares of natural area of the commune of Ea Bung under the district of Ea Sup to be managed by the commune of Ya To Mo.

3. Establishing the commune of Ia RVe under the district of Ea Sup based on 11,316 hectares of natural area and 1,082 population of the commune of Ea Bung, and 11,398 hectares of natural area and 2,201 population of the commune of Ya To Mo.

The commune of Ia RVe has 22,714 hectares of natural area and 3,283 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Ia RVe: East borders the communes of Ea Rok, Ia Lop, and Ia JLoi; West borders

Kingdom of Cambodia; South borders the commune of Ea Bung; North borders the commune of Ia Lop.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ia RVe:

The commune of Ea Bung remains with 28,408 hectares of natural area and 3,253 population.

The commune of Ya To Mo remains with 9,028 hectares of natural area and 3,926 population.

4. Establishing the commune of Cu A Mung under the district of Ea Hleo based on 7,435 hectares of natural area and 3,491 population of the commune of Ea Wy.

The commune of Cu A Mung has 7,435 hectares of natural area and 3,491 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Cu A Mung: East borders the commune of Cu Mot; West borders the district of Ea Sup; South borders the communes of Ea Khal and Ea Nam; North borders the commune of Ea Wy.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Cu A Mung, the commune of Ea Wy remains with 6,042 hectares of natural area and 11,553 population.

5. Establishing the commune of Ea De under the district of Krong Buk based on 2,970 hectares of natural area and 10,025 population of the commune of Pong Drang.

The commune of Ea De has 2,970 hectares of natural area and 10,025 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Ea De: East borders the commune of Ea B'Lang and the district of Krong Nang; West borders the communes of Pong Drang and Ea Ngai; South borders the commune of Dong Ket and the town of Buon Ho; North borders the communes of Chu KBo and Pong Drang.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ea De, the commune of Pong Drang remains with 3,190 hectares of natural area and 15,730 population.

6. Establishing the commune of Ea Kueh under the district of Cu Mgar based on 10,914 hectares of natural area and 5,384 population of the commune of Ea Kiet.

The commune of Ea Kueh has 10,914 hectares of natural area and 5,384 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Ea Kueh: East borders the district of Krong Buk; West borders the commune of Ea Kiet and the district of Ea Sup; South borders the communes of Ea Kiet and Ea Tar; North borders the districts of Ea Hleo, Ea Sup, and Krong Buk.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ea Kueh, the commune of Ea Kiet remains with 8,848 hectares of natural area and 6,594 population.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries and establishing communes under the districts of Ea Sup, Ea Hleo, Krong Buk, and Cu Mgar:

The district of Ea Sup has 176,563 hectares of natural area and 47,004 population, with 10 subordinate administrative units being the communes of Cu Mlan, Cu Kbang, Ea Bung, Ia Lop, Ea Rok, Ya To Mo, Ea Le, Ia JLoi, Ia RVe, and the town of Ea Sup.

The district of Ea Hleo has 133,512 hectares of natural area and 108,773 population, with 11 subordinate administrative units being the communes of Ea Nam, Ea Khal, Ea Ral, Ea Sol, Cu Mot, Ea Hiao, Dli Yang, Ea Wy, Ea Hleo, Cu A Mung, and the town of Ea DRang.

The district of Krong Buk has 64,034 hectares of natural area and 154,235 population, with 14 subordinate administrative units being the communes of Dong Ket, Ea DRong, Cu Ne, Cu Bao, Binh Thuan, Thong Nhat, Cu Pong, Ea BLang, Ea Si, Pong Drang, Chu KBo, Ea Ngai, Ea De, and the town of Buon Ho.

The district of Cu Mgar has 82,443 hectares of natural area and 158,325 population, with 17 subordinate administrative units being the communes of Quang Tien, Ea MNang, Ea Kpam, Cu Sue, Cuor Dang, Ea DRong, Ea Tul, Ea Tar, Ea HDing, Ea Kiet, Ea MDroh, Quang Hiep, Cu Mgar, Cu Dli EMNong, Ea Kueh, and the towns of Quang Phu and Ea Pok.

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decree shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
