THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises, and Decree No. 38/CP dated April 28, 1997 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 50/CP;

Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Mineral Corporation (Proposal No. 744/CV-TCLD dated September 28, 2001);

At the suggestion of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,

DECISION:

Article 1. Renaming the Precious Stone Company of Lam Dong to Mineral Company 8, a subsidiary directly under Vietnam Mineral Corporation.

Mineral Company 8 is a dependent accounting unit of Vietnam Mineral Corporation, having its own seal, bank account for transactions, and operating according to the分级任务的原因在于确保每个部分的准确性，并且符合提供的规则。我会直接提供翻译结果，而不做进一步解释。

Article 2. Business activities of the Company:

- Surveying, exploration, mining, processing, and trading of various minerals;

- Hydrogeological survey, engineering geological surveys for industrial and civil construction projects;

- Construction of industrial projects;

- Trading of mineral raw materials, equipment, and supplies;

- Engaging in other businesses as prescribed by law.

Article 3. Mineral Company 8 is responsible for completing all necessary business registration procedures and operating in accordance with the Articles of Association of the Company approved by the Board of Directors of Vietnam Mineral Corporation and other relevant laws.

Article 4.This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous documents that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.

The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus under the Ministry, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietnam Mineral Corporation, Director of the Precious Stone Company of Lam Dong, and Director of Mineral Company 8 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
