Pursuant to the Law on Enactment of Legislative Regulatory Documents dated November 12, 1996 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Enactment of Legislative Regulatory Documents dated December 16, 2002;

Pursuant to the Road Traffic Law dated June 29, 2001;

Pursuant to the Quality of Goods Ordinance dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department and the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration;

DECISION:

Article 1. Replacing traffic sign number 420 "Start of densely populated area" and traffic sign number 421(a,b) "End of densely populated area" at point 20 and point 21 in Appendix 6 of Traffic Signal Regulations 22 TCN 237-01 issued together with Decision No. 4393/2001/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 20, 2001 of the Minister of Transport with traffic sign number 420 and traffic sign number 421 as set out in the Appendix attached hereto.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, all previous provisions contrary to this Decision shall be abolished.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration, the Directors of the Departments of Transport, Public Works and Transportation, and the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
