CIRCULAR

Issuing National Technical Regulations on Variety Testing for Crop Plants

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Seed Law dated March 24, 2004;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates National Technical Regulations on the testing of crop value and utilization value of plant varieties:

Article 1. Issued together with this Circular are 10 National Technical Regulations:

1. National Technical Regulation on the testing of crop value and utilization value of rice varieties.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect six months from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Crop Production Department, heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing these regulations.

During the implementation process, if there are difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals shall promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for study, amendment, and supplementation./.
