CIRCULAR
Issuing National Technical Regulations on Road Rest Stops

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Based on Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions
Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and the General Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration;
The Minister of Transport hereby issues this Circular on "National Technical Regulations on Road Rest Stops,"
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are the National Technical Regulations on Road Rest Stops - Number: QCVN 43 : 2012/BGTVT.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from May 15, 2013; it abolishes Chapter IV. Provisions on Road Rest Stops in Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BGTVT dated August 31, 2010 issued by the Minister of Transport regarding bus stations, parking lots, road rest stops, and support services for road transport.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General, the Heads of Departments, the General Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration, the Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
