CIRCULAR

REGULATING THE STATISTICAL INDICATORS SYSTEM AND

REPORTING REGIME FOR STATISTICS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR

Pursuant to the Law on Statistics dated November 23, 2015;

Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 2017, issued by the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to Decree No. 94/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;

Pursuant to Decree No. 97/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government stipulating the contents of statistical indicators within the national statistical indicator system;

AT THE REQUEST OF THE HEAD OF THE PLANNING-INVESTMENT DEPARTMENT;

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR REGULATING THE STATISTICAL INDICATORS SYSTEM AND REPORTING REGIME FOR STATISTICS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR.

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE STATISTICAL INDICATORS SYSTEM AND REPORTING REGIME FOR STATISTICS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR.

Article 2. THE PLANNING-INVESTMENT DEPARTMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING, URGING, INSPECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION, AND REPORTING TO THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ON THE ENFORCEMENT OF THIS CIRCULAR.

Article 3. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM FEBRUARY 1, 2018 AND REPLACE CIRCULAR NO. 41/2014/TT-BGTVT DATED SEPTEMBER 15, 2014 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ON THE "STATISTICAL INDICATORS SYSTEM IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR" AND CIRCULAR NO. 58/2014/TT-BGTVT DATED OCTOBER 27, 2014 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT REGULATING THE REPORTING REGIME FOR COMBINED STATISTICS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR. NOTWITHSTANDING, THE REPORTING REGIME FOR STATISTICS ACCORDING TO CIRCULAR NO. 58/2014/TT-BGTVT DATED OCTOBER 27, 2014 SHALL CONTINUE TO BE APPLIED UNTIL JUNE 30, 2018.
