CIRCULAR

Issuing National Technical Regulations

on high-altitude meteorological codes and weather radar

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Legal Documents dated June 22, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law on Meteorology and Hydrology dated November 23, 2015;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Pursuant to Decree No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration, the Deputy Minister in charge of Science and Technology, and the Deputy Minister in charge of Legal Affairs;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular to stipulate National Technical Regulations on high-altitude meteorological codes and weather radar:

Article 1. This Circular hereby promulgates National Technical Regulation No. QCVN 64:2017/BTNMT on high-altitude meteorological codes and weather radar, attached hereto.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from May 21, 2018.

Article 3. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to ministries, agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
