Article 1. The National Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases is a state-owned entity with income, having legal personality; it has its own seal; it is entitled to open accounts at the State Treasury; it receives funding from the state budget; its headquarters is located in Hanoi.
The National Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases has the English name: National Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases (abbreviated as NIITD).
The Minister of Health shall specify in detail the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the National Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases.
