Regarding the amendment of certain names of plant protection products and the registration units for products listed in the directory of plant protection products permitted for use, restricted use in Vietnam issued pursuant to Decision No. 33/2000/QĐ-BNN-BVTV dated April 3, 2000 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

On the basis of Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
On the basis of Article 26 of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on February 15, 1993;
On the basis of the Plant Protection Product Management Regulation issued together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government and guidelines for implementing the Ordinance on Plant Protection and Quarantine;
Considering the proposals of the Directors of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science and Technology Quality Products Department, and the Head of the Ministry's Office,

Article 1. Amending certain names of plant protection products in the directory of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam issued pursuant to Decision No. 33/2000/QĐ-BNN-BVTV dated April 3, 2000 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding the issuance of the Directory of Plant Protection Products Permitted for Use, Restricted Use, and Prohibited Use in Vietnam, specifically for items numbered 5 (pesticide) and 65 (plant disease control agent) as follows:

The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for providing detailed guidance on safe and effective use of the aforementioned plant protection products.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science and Technology Quality Products Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic and foreign organizations and individuals managing production, business, trade, and use of plant protection products in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this regulation./.
