Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Based on the proposal of the Director of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department, and the Director of the Plant Protection Department.

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Issued herewith to amend and supplement:

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department and the Director of the Plant Protection Department.

1.1 Some objects to be controlled;

Pursuant to …;

Article 1: 1.2 The active ingredients and components of some types of chemicals;

1.3 The concentration of active ingredients and forms of some types of chemicals;

1.4 Trade names;

1.5 Purity of active ingredients;

1.6 Names of entities registering plant protection chemicals;

in Decision No. 16/2002/QĐ-BNN dated March 12, 2002, of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on issuing the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use and restricted use in Vietnam (with attached annexes).

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department, Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic and foreign organizations and individuals managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection chemicals in Vietnam shall be responsible for implementing this decision./.

1. Amend and supplement some objects to be controlled:

Article 2: This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for providing detailed guidance on safe and effective use of the aforementioned plant protection products.
