THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to Decision No. 07/2007/QĐ-BGDĐT dated April 2, 2007 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Charter of junior high schools, general secondary schools, and multi-grade general secondary schools;.

At the proposal of the Director of the Secondary Education Department,

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Regulation on the organization and operation of boarding schools for ethnic minorities.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 2590/GD&ĐT dated August 24, 1997 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Provisions on the organization and operation of boarding schools for ethnic minorities.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of the Department of Secondary Education, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Heads of ministries with boarding schools for ethnic minorities, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government, Directors of Departments of Education and Training, Principals of boarding schools for ethnic minorities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
